The following provides an overview of the development of the Think Kit, a version history of changes and future plans.
Development
Following from initial exchanges around the Cultural Strategies and Futures report, Ian Leete and Dan Ashton applied for and secure funding from the University of Southampton Impact Acceleration Account to translate the recommendations into resources.
- Stage 1 (Development) from February to May 2025 involved a series of co-design and co-creation sessions between Ian Leete (LGA) and the University of Southampton team (Dan Ashton, Michael Kurniawan, Zubair Shafiq) with support from the Research Application Support Team and Geo Data. - Stage 2 (Testing) involved creating a Community of Practice (CoP) to explore the recommendations and draft resources. An expression of interest was circulated and the community was formed. The CoP met regularly between May and July 2025. Please see: Collaborators.
- Stage 3 (Sharing) focused on the CLOA webinar in November 2025. Please see: Resources.
- Stage 4 (Evaluating) focuses on understanding how the Think Kit is being used and its continuous development. Experiences and suggestions on the User Experiences page.
